located between 33°00′N 80°00′ E In-between India and China. It covers the Area Ranked 93rd in the world
and covers 147,181 kmē (136800 kmē land and 4000 kmē water).
The country name `Nepal’ is believed to have been derived from the Sanskrit word nipalaya, which means
“at the foot of the Himalaya Mountains”. Also the word Nepal is believed to be related to Tibetan word niyampal,
which means “holy land”. And a much broader meaning of Nepal can be as a country of natural beauty, home of legendary
Gorkhas, the only country having the highest land on earth - Mt. Everest, and as a home of peace loving Lord, Buddha, and
Hindu Goddess, Sita. Definition can go on and on, Nepal has endless meaning. We must add a few more, Nepal as a country where
over 100 spoken languages are found with an approximate of 26 million people, as a country of over 70 different ethnic groups
and 4 major religious faiths are living in harmony having their own unique traditions, customs and culture. And tourists visiting
Nepal love to define Nepal as `small on the outside and big on the inside’ – and love to stay in peace with smiling
faces all the time- Welcome to Nepal!
